Sathyamurthy Iyengar
Managing Director & CEO

Sathyamurthy Iyengar possesses 25+ years of professional experience in varied industries and has done variety of assignments in the areas of accounts maintenance, system analysis, design implementation and development of software application in diverse multicultural environment. Having qualified in Finance in 1987, he has since worked in Accounting, Shipping, Insurance, Software and Banking firms both in India and internationally with technologies ranging from Client Server to Web-based solutions. He has widely travelled and worked with number of Clients with international repute. To name a few, he has worked with organizations such as Thomson Reuters, Trigyn Technologies, United Nations, Al-Alamiya Insurance (Gulf branch of Sun-Alliance & London Insurance) and Prudential Investments (United States).

His last decade of work almost went into pre-sales, implementation & support of Thomson Reuters - Kondor Suite of Products (Front to Back) which is extensively used by investment bankers for their treasury operations. During his stint, he did a complete implementation of Bank of Baroda-Front, Middle & Back Office for 17 Countries.

Also, he has gained strong software process experience by achieving CMM Level 4 for Trigyn Technologies. He was part of the core team in setting up processes and contributed by demonstrating his strong technical & managerial skills. Apart from that, he has done a challenging 3 year complex implementation of java based ERP development for the United Nations from formalizing the bid to project initiation and implementation followed by support. It also involved the challenge of reverse engineering the code into a complete meaningful document before starting the development.

In gist, he has a wide range of experience in different industries with strong domain knowledge in Banking, Treasury, Insurance and Reinsurance.

Neppolian, a commerce graduate with additional qualification of being a Chartered Market Technician from MTA, USA is the “go-to” analyst for major Mutual funds and Insurance houses of the country and global Hedge funds. He is possessed with rich experience of 14+ years of understanding and serving the needs of marquee institutional clients.

He is associated with financial markets since 1992 at various capacities from being a pro-trader, alternative analyst to Head of strategies. He was responsible for building up the Institutional Equity desk at Modern Shares and Stockbrokers Limited and served as Head - Institutional Equity for 10+ years. He also served as Head Strategist - Institutions with MF Global for 3 years. Lastly, he served Philip Capital for 1 year as Head Strategist - Institutions.

He is the author of Theme Year Report, an annual product, released at the beginning of each calendar year covering detailed analysis of Global Equities, Commodities, Currencies and Bonds. This flagship product is unique and one of a kind in India. The Report is keenly awaited by institutional clients and helps them take strategic long term positions. The Report is in the 12th year of its publication.

He has appeared as an Equity Expert on CNBC and his Monthly Sector & Stocks program was keenly watched and well received during the years 2006 -2009.
